CONTAMINANT ANALYSIS

Identifying contaminants on or in your materials is critical to maintaining quality controls, visual aesthetics, and avoiding adverse chemical reactions. MES can help you identify foreign materials through our analytical tools and chemical expertise.

• Contaminants may be identified in solids and filtered from liquids and oils.

• Surface and particulate contaminant morphology may be characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope

• Contaminant visual characterization is performed by stereo-microscopy for shape, color, & uniformity.

• Inorganic contaminant composition is determined by Energy Dispersive X-Ray (EDS) analysis

• Organic compounds are identified by FTIR analysis.
